  • Migrando a VS 2008

  • Changes in Jade

This has been posted too in the Jade Forums . Hi! these weeks we have moved Jade out from Codeplex to Assembla ( http://www.assembla.com ). We wanted to do this for several reasons: - it's easier to manage collaborators and patches in SVN than in TFS. - it integrates Trac (item tracking) with the...

  • Surprise: Pluto.Synchronization

These days I was supposed to be working on the input but gonzo has taken over it and he is doing quite good progress so I decided to review some general things we had around and that should be solved to easy development in Jade2. Jader for example has two main complaints currently: When an exception...

  • Ups and Downs

All projects have ups and downs and in the last few weeks Jade members have been hit by work, examns and all sort of boring "Real Life" (TM) things. To be honest, our development pace on summer was totally crazy, with Reed and Jader writting code faster than any of us would have dreamt. Jade...

  • Minor Update

I'm going to Japan tomorrow for nearly 2 weeks, so a little update before I go (I doubt you would notice given my post rate, but who knows ;)). - Statik and his team are building a very interesting demo using Jade 1.1 codenamed "DM", you can watch some screenshots here: http://www.jadengine...

  • Double Dispatch in JADE 2.0

I've started looking in depth current JADE 2.0 code (it's being massively re-done from scratch, with even a custom .NET DirectX Wrapper), so I'm going to post more frecuently about it's development. I'm still learning how what's actually done works, but one of it's coolest...

  • Upgrading my home machine network

It's time to spend some money and upgrade my home machines! As I love playing games and watching movies, I've bought a new gaming PC (a real monster). Also, I'm getting a new laptop for development (including JADE and XNA development ;) and a new mobile phone (because I'm tired of having...

  • Project Simply Complex

Well, nearly 2 months since last post... Summer is not a very productive time for me :) But I have lots of things to talk about so updates should come more often during the next weeks. Today I wanted to talk about Project Simply Complex, probably the most ambitious project done with Jade 1.1 (that we...

  • jadengine.com moving to a new site

If you look at the IRC log I posted in my last entry, you will see the new Jade website (not fully ready, but we are on it). We are pointing www.jadengine.com to it now, so until the information propagates the domain is pointing to a NS ads page ¬¬ The move should be finished in 24-36 hours at most....

  • IRC Chat Log and comments

Well, a little later than expected but here it comes the post about our last IRC meeting. First, I would like to thank all the people who attended, Jade users and devs, but I would like to especially thank Borrillis for coming. If you didn't know him, he is the current developer of Axiom and SharpInputSystem...
